FY25 Public Notice: City of Beaumont/Zip is considering FTA and TXDOT Grant
The City of Beaumont/Zip is considering applying for a grant from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT)
A Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 1:30pm at the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 801 Main Street, Beaumont, Texas 77701.
Prior to the hearing, additional information may be requested and/or written comments may be submitted.
Transit Management of Beaumont: Program of Projects Process
Step 1.
Post the P.O.P notice on the municipal transit website, fourteen (14) days prior to hearing date.
Step 2.
Post the P.O.P. notice in a noticeable location at the Municipal Transit Facility, 14 days prior to hearing date.

Conduct a Public Hearing at the City of Beaumont (COB) Council Meeting for citizen questions, comments, and concerns to be heard.

- Meetings are held weekly; agendas are posted to the public in advance at City Hall and on the COB website.
Step 4.
Conduct a Public Hearing at the City of Beamont (COB) Council Meeting for citizen questions, comments, and concerns to be heard.
- Council considers a resolution.
- City Council Minutes (recorded actions / approvals) are posted in the COB website.
